Bohemian Style

Jul 14, 2014

I have been really into this lay back bohemian style for summer. It is super easy and chic. I've been on the search for a kimono forever and I finally found this colorful one. My style is constantly changing and this outfit proves it. Last year I prob wouldn't of had anything to do with this kind of style of an outfit. That's fashion for ya. For those of you who haven't read my previous post, there conveniently is an abandoned hotel right next to my apartment. I have fallen in love with its charm and rustic feel. Lately, I have been taking all my outfit posts by it. It's so close to me and so unique. I'm hoping to do a little bit more exploring and venturing off in other areas of Blo/No to find more diamonds in the rough scenery. For now, this abandoned hotel will do.

I have had the honor of pup sittin' my friend's doggy this past week. His name is Oliver and he is absolutely adorable. I got a little carried away at times and would pretend that he was mine. As a little girl I was obsessed with the idea of having a cat. Since both my father and sister are highly allergic, that dream never came true. No amount of fake stuffed animal cats under the Christmas tree each year were going to satisfy my want for a little kitty of my own. Then came Teddy- Our family dog who is a mix between a Yorkie and a Chinese Crested. I fell in love with the little guy and I never looked back. I don't know if it's ironic or just funny that now at age 20, I have adapted an allergy to cats. I guess it just was never meant to be.

Here's the little guy I have been watching this past week. He's a mini Australian Shepherd mixed with a Poodle. Only 5 months old, he already knows how to sit, lay-down, and sorta/sometimes shake.

I almost cried when I had to say goodbye, but I know I will most likely be seeing him again soon. I have already started planning what kind of dog I want to get once I graduate. I'm a dog gal through and through.

Hope everyone's Mondays are going great so far! Have a great week.

I'm actually really excited about how these pictures turned out. I love spur of the moment photo shoots. Conveniently, there is an abandoned hotel next to our apartment complex. At first, i didn't like that there was a run down building next to our supa cute apartment complex, but it turned out to be a diamond in the rough. Emma and I got some really great shots of each other on the property. I can't wait to show you guys the pictures she took of me.

Love you Emma. Hope this post does your pretty face justice.
